1. Flowstar is a Northern California Company, with manufacturing, and construction main offices in Northern California (Gilroy). We manufacture our own systems, paint them ourselves, ship them with our company trucks and install them with our own personnel. We carry California contractor licenses for Modular rooms and electrical. One of our specialties is design/build and we have at our control all the specialty engineering and contracting trades necessary to complete your project with one umbrella of control.

2. Flowstar has been in business 21 years, with well over 400 satisfied systems customers. We have an excellent reference list and can arrange tours of a multitude of Northern California facilities.

3. With Flowstar, your system is custom engineered for maximum performance at minimum purchase and operating cost, we build what you need – not what were selling.

4. We have proposed a system with in external skeleton load bearing sleeved tube frame. The advantages are strength, flexibility, modularity and expandability. When comparing apples for apples with other cleanroom manufacturers – please keep this important fact in mind. If you are going to move your cleanroom in the future – this frame system is super important for flexibility or relaying out your room. We could eliminate the frame, mount your ceiling on your walls and cut costs $20.00-$25.00 per square foot – but we don’t recommend it.

5. Flowstar uses only the absolute best materials and equipment available in building these rooms. It’s not only about dollars – its about performance and longevity.

6. Warranty – we are local. We have up to 10 trucks in Silicon Valley at any given time, building 3-4 cleanrooms at a time. You can’t get that response out of a catalogue house or an out-of-state cleanroom manufacturer.

7. Permits – we are known by your municipality and can expedite permits. We work with them daily. Permit package run about $6,000.00, less permit fees generally 1 ½ to 3% of project.

Note: You must provide accurate as-built building drawings.

If you choose not to permit the job or to self permit – we will provide documentation
preparation for permitting, as an option. $3,800.00 including structural.

We advise that you permit your project, if required.

8. FDA Protocol
Last year we spent $60,000 developing our software control systems and FDA CGMP manufacturing protocol outlines and procedures. As an option we can provide a complete facility turn-over-package with design/material lists:

Pre-certification with report and certificate

Three ring binder book of FDA pre-compliance including ISO specs. and FS specs.
