'L' Frame Flowhood Materials


  • Flow hood
  • Two HEPA’s
  • Flow hood cover (top filter plate)
  • Four Pre-filters
  • Back panel
  • Two legs – Must include leveling feet
  • Four light bulbs
  • Three egg crates
  • Two Plexiglas side panels
  • Two 3/8-16 X 3" bolts, nuts & washers
  • Self tapers 14 X 1"
  • Plexiglas ¾"
  • Gasket

      1. Install Crew requirements

      1. Two Dollies
      2. Genie Lift
      3. Cleaning Solution – 10/90 (10% isopropyl alcohol / 90% distilled water solution)
      4. Cleanroom towels
      5. Electric drill with Phillips bit
      6. 9/16" ratchet / wrench
      7. ½" ratchet / wrench
      8. Touch-up paint
      9. Pigtail adapter may be required for power

        Installation sequence:

      1. Lift unit up into the air with secure lifting device. Note: do not damage HEPA filter during lift, ensure forks or lifting device protrude through both ends.
      1. Holds legs upright and align with slots on far ends.
        Lower unit onto legs and bolt with 3/8’ bolts.
      2. Gasket top of back panel and screw in self-tapping screws.
        Ensure that top of back panel is flush with back flange of unit.
      3. Gasket aluminum angle frame of Plexiglas and screw onto sides of unit.
